Tokyo Ghoul :re Episode 4 Review

WATCH EPISODE 4 This episode was very well done and intense, too. So much stuff happened and I loved it. Every second of it. It's pretty close to the Manga, which is good in my opinion, but let's not focus on the Manga and go list all differences for now. First of all, Kanae's voice is weird. I never expected his French accent to be this strong. It sounds very different from what I've imagined. But that's fine. He still looks cool and I love him as a character. I really liked the scenes that show the obsession that Torso has for Mutsuki too. They were well done. It nearly looks like he's in love for her for now. We also have to talk about Roma-Chan (Sorry for putting things out of order) because in case you didn't know, she's my Waifu of choice. I just love the way she behaves, the way she fights and lures investigators, and above all, she's pretty damn cute too. The scene where she releases her Kagune from her Abdomen was just insane. I l...

Tokyo Ghoul :re Manga Chapter 170 Review

Read Chapter (Manga Stream) The battle is on. We got, yet again, a chapter almost entirely focused on one single fight. But not only that. In fact, Takizawa is back. In case I didn't mention that earlier, he is probably my favorite character, and I've been waiting for his return for a long time. It just so happens that today he got introduced in the Anime, Re-Introduced in the Manga and just left Goat in the chapter of Tokyo Ghoul :re I'm currently re-reading. Quite a lot of Takizawa today. I'm very glad he's back and spectating the ongoing fight between Amon and Donato. I think he's a very under-rated character, mostly because his Back-Story isn't all that great or at least nowhere as good as certain other character's, but he still remains a cool guy whose life has been destroyed as much as Kaneki's had. Can't say whose is more tragic thought. Aside from all of that, we got Uta doing some serious damage to Yomo, even thought, word after word...

Toyko Ghoul :re Episode 3 Review

WATCH EPISODE 3 This episode just filled me with Hype for the next one. But I'll try to contain that hype for now. As I already mentioned a million times, the music in this season is Wonderful. That's not the only amazing thing about this episode, though. While the Animation could have been slightly better in certain scenes, the music and Ending scenes were at the top of the line. Studio Perriot sure knows how to put an ending to an episode to build a lot of hype for the next one. The above SceenShot was taken towards the ending, I really like the way it looks and wished I had an high resolution version, it could be made into an amazing backdrop. I find Miza's dresses a bit too bright and colorful though, those should've been Darker in my opinion. The tracks that play on the endings always get me, and fit perfectly with the scenes being displayed. We also got an additional early introduction to Amon. I don't exactly know what's the point of that, I'd...

Tokyo Ghoul :re Episode 2 Review

I'll start by saying that I really enjoyed the background music of this episode, and the previous episode's as well. I'm really impressed by the Piano work and Metal for the fighting sequences, I couldn't help but notice what an amazing work they did on the music department. On the other hand, the episode had some things changed from the Manga, but nothing too relevant except for the early meeting between Mado and the Kijima-Furuta duo. I don't know why this was done but as long as it doesn't affect the storyline I'm good with it, but it's hard to believe they introduced them this early for no reason. Anyways, the episode was good, some small changes to save time were applied (for instance, Urie didn't go talk to Yoshitoki to obtain permission to unlock the next frame of his Kagune) but overall it was just as good as I had expected. One thing I wish was not skipped was the reveal of Haise's RC Cells count, but I guess that's just not rele...

Tokyo Ghoul :re Manga Chapter 169 Review

I'd like to start by saying that I couldn't really figure out what was happening in the Fighting scenes. I never really can tell exactly what was happening, but I jut figured out that in this Fighting-Dedicated chapter Uta has bested Yomo pretty badly. I do believe Uta is just plainly more Powerful than Yomo but I don't know if Yomo is at his best right now, as in, I have no idea if he has been eating properly in the past few days or if he ate in the past month or so. Uta is likely well-fed and at his best right now. He seems pretty damn happy be finally fighting against Yomo, for whatever reason, and has even released his Kakuja (which we see for the very first time) at the end of a chapter. I'm really looking forward to see the true power of Uta and see if he has some other special abilities to reveal, other than the Shape-Shifting thing. Meanwhile Amon is confronting Donato, the showdown everyone's been waiting for, even though everyone is so hyped about Uta as ...

Tokyo Ghoul :re Episode 1 Review

I was both very excited and afraid to see this episode. But everything turned out well. Like most Manga Readers I was afraid that the Storyline would begin to change and go afar from the Manga, but it's too soon to tell anyways. This episode was good, the Animation itself was majestic. I am glad they turned Uri's hair Black and shaded Mutskuki's so they don't look too weird. The fighting scenes were cool, as well as the rendering of the Kagune, which is obviously Animated to look cooler and more bad-ass than it actually is, but that's completely fine. I think they dropped the Coloured Kagunes idea that was present in the first 2 seasons and I'm glad. I hope they keep up the good work with the Animation of the Kagunes. But that's not all the are going to talk about here. Aside from the Artstyle, which again, I like very much, the story seems to stick close to the Manga with very few noticeable changes. This is not to say that it's going to be like thi...

Tokyo Ghoul :re Opening Review (Video - Music - Lyrics)

After all the hate that the Opening of Tokyo Ghoul Root A has received, it looks like Studio Pierrot has tried to make up for that atrocious failure and pleased us with a relatively good Opening for this new season of Tokyo Ghoul. Lyrics:  http://tgrereview.blogspot.com/2018/04/tokyo-ghoul-re-opening-lyrics.html MUSIC Music is sure the thing most fans were concerned about since the Opening of Root A. In my opinion, the voice of this new opening is very good, with nice shifts and tones, and is perfectly in Sync with the Music itself, which has surprised me quite a lot. Like in all the previous intros we have some sick piano plays, the drops sound awesome, also because the voice follows them perfectly. The Guitar work is also astonishing. At a certain point I could also hear some Xylophone notes that melt perfectly with the theme. The way it closes is very sudden, almost like it was cut. This is because it actually was. But it doesn't sound as bad as I first thought. Overall, it...
