Toyko Ghoul :re Episode 3 Review



This episode just filled me with Hype for the next one. But I'll try to contain that hype for now.
As I already mentioned a million times, the music in this season is Wonderful. That's not the only amazing thing about this episode, though. While the Animation could have been slightly better in certain scenes, the music and Ending scenes were at the top of the line. Studio Perriot sure knows how to put an ending to an episode to build a lot of hype for the next one. The above SceenShot was taken towards the ending, I really like the way it looks and wished I had an high resolution version, it could be made into an amazing backdrop. I find Miza's dresses a bit too bright and colorful though, those should've been Darker in my opinion. The tracks that play on the endings always get me, and fit perfectly with the scenes being displayed.
We also got an additional early introduction to Amon. I don't exactly know what's the point of that, I'd have preferred an early peek to Takizawa, but that's just me. I wonder how Donato knows about what happened to Amon though, that really got me thinking, but I can't come up with a theory yet. Knowing how Studio Perriot operates, it might just be for plot purposes. But that's fine, it doesn't need to be perfect.
Overall I really enjoyed this episode and can't wait for the next one. It captures the meaning of the Manga perfectly. The hype sure is real.

WATCH EPISODE 12 What a run and beautiful series we had. Sadly, the time has come, the time where I review its last episode. Nothing to fear, though, the premiere for the Second Season of Tokyo Ghoul :re is rumored to happen in October of this Very Year. Anyways, let's get back to this episode. I have some complaints, like many others, I believe certain scenes didn't have an equal impact than they had in the Manga. Can I let that slide? Partially. The scenes were still well drawn, well Animates, the text was similar if not the exact same, so what's wrong with them? Hard to explain. In the Manga they simply looked cooler I'm guessing. Tokyo Ghoul :re Episode 8 Review

WATCH EPISODE 8 Yet another solid episode, what can I say. While the sound-track is becoming a little repetitive, it's still very good. The introduction of new characters was also well done, and it was animated particularly well. Kanae's flashback was also very well done, even thought Trukiyama looked a little bit dull in it, I guess his suit wasn't of the best colors back then. I don't know why I felt I had to mention such thing, but moving on, there's one thing this Anime is focusing on that I might actually like, that being the relationship between Ayato and Hinami. Also worth mentioning how different Ayato looks in the Flashback, he looks nothing alike his TG Season 1 counterpart. I am agreeing a lot with the panels the Anime decided to adapt and cut. So far it has been focusing on what's important, the relationship between Shirazu and Nutcracker (as a Quinque) is a good example for this. And Mutsuki's gender is constantly being hinted to be Fe...

Tokyo Ghoul :re Chapter 171 Review

READ CHAPTER This chapter was very focused towards the past of certain characters. I was expecting something more from it, things such as Renji releasing a Kakuja or something but I guess what we've got is more than enough. The conversation between Uta and Yomo was very deep, I liked it, even thought I still can't fully understand Uta or how Yomo managed to bring him to his knees like that, unless Uta himself was just playing a Role like he's always been doing. Meanwhile the fight between Amon and Donato has been apparently brought to an end. Even thought I'm fairly sure that hit that Amon striked on Donato wasn't enough to take him down. In fact, I believe Donato's abilities could easily match the ones of someone like Eto for instance. He hasn't gone full out yet, and I wonder if he buries some kind of feelings towards Amon, perhaps similar to the feelings Amon has towards him. Donato could easily take down Amon in a blast, I'm pretty sure of that. I...
