Tokyo Ghoul :re Opening Review (Video - Music - Lyrics)
After all the hate that the Opening of Tokyo Ghoul Root A has received, it looks like Studio Pierrot has tried to make up for that atrocious failure and pleased us with a relatively good Opening for this new season of Tokyo Ghoul.

MUSIC
Music is sure the thing most fans were concerned about since the Opening of Root A. In my opinion, the voice of this new opening is very good, with nice shifts and tones, and is perfectly in Sync with the Music itself, which has surprised me quite a lot. Like in all the previous intros we have some sick piano plays, the drops sound awesome, also because the voice follows them perfectly. The Guitar work is also astonishing. At a certain point I could also hear some Xylophone notes that melt perfectly with the theme. The way it closes is very sudden, almost like it was cut. This is because it actually was. But it doesn't sound as bad as I first thought. Overall, it can not beat unravel.
VIDEO
The Video mainly shows off all the main Characters of the Series. One thing I noticed is that certain characters like Torso do not appear, leading me to believe they wanted to showcase only characters that will have more presence than others through the series. The factions showcases were also awesome. I particularly liked the one of Juuzou's Squad and Rosewald / Washuu ones.
There are also certain fighting scenes such as Sasaki VS Eto during the Tsukiyama Extermination Operation and Ayato scattering his Crystals from his Kagune from above. I found the Kakuja of Eto a bit weird since the Animation simply stops for a split second in the end before transacting to the next scene.
It's important to notice how Furuta was pictured in this Opening. It looks like they are hinting to the public that Furuta is not on the good side, and I think this shouldn't have been done, because it ruins the tension and element of surprise for the Anime-Only watchers. But that's the only flaw I've noticed.
I also liked how Amon's face was hidden while Takizawa's was openly shown, probably because of how unrecognizable he is. The fact that Amon is showcase in the same scene and right after Akira though is probably enough to give away his Identity.
LYRICS
I found the Lyrics decent but nothing particular. I believe the Lyrics of the first 2 Openings were better, assuming that the Translation I've gotten is right. There's not much to say about them. They mainly tell about the trouble that Sasaki has with Kaneki.
Final Rating: Pretty Damn Good and Enjoyable, I listen to it every now and then.
