WATCH EPISODE 2 Before I watched the episodes I couldn't help but notice how so many people were hating on it. Manga readers of course, the number was alarming. But upon watching the episode I find myself in a position where I must disagree. One of the things that received the most hate was indeed the fight between Arima and Kaneki. So far I don't think Studio Pierrot has been able to animate a fight decently in the Tokyo Ghoul franchise since the Kaneki VS Jason finale. But this, this very fight was animated way better than I had expected. The animation was much more continuous and alive than other fights we've seen in the previous season, as it should. It could have done much worse, it's not perfect but it's the infamous fight everyone. As for the rest, it's been a while since I've read the Manga and because of this I haven't noticed if something was left out or not. Overall it seemed very canon to the Manga. We're back at it again with the first episode of the second part of the Tokyo Ghoul :re Anime, which so far, has given few disappointments overall. Except that the first episode was a bit rushed but we are not here to talk about that now, right? The opening was probably the thing I was most looking forward to for. MUSIC The song itself sound amazing. I haven't looked into the Lyrics yet but will soon enough and will write a review on those as well, but the voice of TK really is at its best in this song. Background work fits wonderfully as well. VISUALS Those, those could have been a lot better. Not much was shown in the opening as far as characters go, not even the most key ones. Only the old Anteiku team was featured for whatever reason, with no exceptions but for Rize. Still the visuals are amazing. I'm not a fan of the last shot on the latest version of Kaneki but overall the mood of the song is, not as good as Unravel, but very well done and animated. Overall a...
